Although they're not currently performing together, The Kim Basinger Band made a strong impression during their stint as a Palm Beach County ska powerhouse. They initally formed at the Dreyfoos School of the Arts, nurtured by the school's arts magnet program. They were fed a steady diet of concert band, orchestra, and jazz, which has heavily influenced their sound.
